Swisscom Greenfield SRv6 uSID Network.

TITAN (Terabit IP Transport and Aggregation Network) is Swisscom’s new converged IP Network which will replace the many IP Networks they used to have.

Rolf Schmid (Architect of IP Transport Networks at Swisscom) explained the TITAN Network design based on SRv6. He highlighted the benefits of deploying the SRv6 technology at Swisscom in terms of simplicity, scale, reliability.

Rolf explained the ECMP nature of the TITAN Network and how the IPM solution help them to measure the Latency, Loss and Liveness for all ECMP Paths. Swisscom did a PoC of IPM in their lab and as a next step they will do a trail of IPM in their production network.
